Wishing health to our dear patients, the following information answers many of your questions and, while preventing possible problems, help you benefit of facilities Rasa Medical Center more easily. It is hoped to help us in providing the best services by paying enough attention to them.
1-To file a case (start the process) and visit the patient by a specialist doctor and start the treatment, go to the receptionist.
2-The documents required to accept are the insurance booklet, introduction letter, medical documents include CD, CT scan and MRI. (if you are not under protection of any insurance, please ask the insurance staff for help)
3-The presence of parents is necessary for patients under the age of 18.
4-Inform your doctor about the medications you are taking.
5-The patient and her/his companion are responsible about their belongings and the medical center has no responsibility for it.
6-In this center, it is not possible to issue a supplementary insurance invoice.
7-Cash is required.
8-Consulting with the receptionist to determine the daily visit time for treatment, due to the patients coming from cities and provinces and limitation of devices and their available hours, there is no chance to change the time offered for treatment. However, we try to consider the requested time as much as possible.
9-Treatment with radiotherapy devices does not cause any pain for the patient. Treatment is a maximum for 5 days a week, and treatment is not performed on Thursdays, Fridays and official holidays. (These days are considered for the repair and regeneration of healthy cells).
10-Carry the reference card (small card) with you every day, this card belongs to you and write down your case number (which is written on the card) in a safe place at home or make a copy of your reference card and keep it in a safe place.
11-The treatment sheet (a large folder contains your treatment information) belongs to the reception. Please do not take it outside the medical center. (If this folder lost, your treatment information will be lost too.)
12-The indicated time is for you to be at the center, not the treatment time. Present your card to the receptionist at specified time and wait at waiting room. They will invite you for treatment according to the order of time managing and status of the device.
13-Arriving before the determined time has no effect on sooner treatment and just increases the crowding of dear patients in the waiting room (because treatment program of devices is planed based on the given times and one or two patients 30 minutes).
14-Considering the working condition of the devices with their maximum capacity and possibility of delaying factors such as messing up the settings of the devices, the un-wellness of some emergency patients, power swing (which takes about 30 minutes to turn off and on the power until the device becomes active), consider at least half an hour as a waiting time after presenting the reference card to the device staff.
15-Dear late comer patients cause work pressure and problems for the treatment of other patients and in order to prevent it, the above patients will be treated at the end of the shift.
16-Gathering dear patients and companions in front of the treatment and control rooms (workplace of the personnel) is strictly prohibited. Attention the above point causes:
a)Preventing unnecessary radiation exposure of patients or their companions
b)Preventing the attention reduction of treatment staff
c)The comfort of patients, especially women who are changing clothes.
17-When the patient was called for treatment, he/she must take off the clothes of the marked parts of body in the dressing room and put on the available slippers (or his/her personal slippers) and enter the treatment room with a suitable cover (a cover that marked for treatment are in hand without any stretch). Avoid erasing and bolding the lines on the body.
18-It is mandatory to bring the yellow card, uniform (gun cloths) and thermoplastic (if needed).
19-In case of having injections, it is mandatory to bring the CR test sheet.
20-Before the treatment, avoid greasing the treatment area and keep it clean.
21-Avoid using jewelry in the treatment part of body.
22-After lying on the bed, place yourself in a comfortable position (the position you had in the doctor’s examination room during the drawing). Do not move while the treatment staff adjusts your body until the end of the treatment. (If the patient moves, the radiation will radiate to other areas and will be completely harmful).
23-To avoid possible nausea, avoid eating and drinking from one hour before to one hour after the treatment. Companions of patients can help the patient on the treatment bed only if the patient needs it and then leave the treatment room. Companions of patients who do not need help must not enter the treatment room, but shoud wait outside the room to help the patient.
24-Due to the dangers of radiation exposure, under any circumstances pregnant women are prohibited to enter the treatment area.
25-In case of require visit by the doctor or having any problems during the treatment process or treatment complications (which will be different according to the treatment part of body), you should visit your specialist in this medical center.
26-For radiation therapy, it is mandatory for the patient to submit a letter of introduction to the reception, and if you don’t have a letter of introduction, ask the receptionist for an appointment for visiting and wait for announcement.
27-During the breakdown of the devices, get information about restarting them through the phone number on the reference card.
28-At the end of the treatment period, you should visit your doctor.
29-Your cooperation with the staff will increase the quality of treatment and any disrespect to the staff will be prosecuted.
